Making helpful and simple things.

I try to make things you'll look forward to using; digital tools that help and don't get in the way. My approach to design is compassionate and often minimalistic. Through my work, I advocate for diversity and inclusion.

I started out as a developer working on mobile apps and game UIs. I helped ship Forza Motorsport 6 and Forza Motorsport 6: Apex, and polished up Windows Phone's apps and OS. It took me a bit to realize that I enjoyed designing more than programming. That change felt a lot like coming home after a long time away.

In 2016, I started a little design agency—Coastal—and began doing freelance UX, UI, and visual design there. While at Coastal, I pursued my Master's in Health Informatics at the University of Washington, and tailored my design services to healthcare startups.

As of August 2018, I'm a Product Designer on Microsoft's Cloud Infrastructure & Operations team. Come say hello!

If you're interested in working together or just wanna chat, hit me up on Twitter or via email.

Thanks!
